This Jane Iredale refill is a Skin Cancer Foundation approved product as an effective UV protectant for daily use.
ASIAN AND/OR DARKER SKIN TONES: To assist you in your Jane Iredale product selection those shades deemed most suitable for Asian and/or darker skin tones have been marked with an asterix (*).
NOTE: Generally the shades in the Purepressed Powder come up lighter than the Amazing Base Loose Powder equivalent so it is worth trying a sample first if unsure.

Application Advice
Swirl the Jane Iredale Handi Brush around the cake. Use the side of the compact to tap off any excess minerals.
- Begin application where you want the most coverage, using downward strokes. Then layer the minerals over the rest of your face and neck.
- Apply Dream Tint or Absence Oil Control Primer to prime the skin and provide a perfectly smooth surface for the pressed minerals. Absence controls oil and can be used by all skin types as a primer and to prevent colour change.
- Use a lighter colour in the centre of the face and a darker one around the edges. This pulls the centre of the face out and has the same flattering effect as highlighting.
- After you’ve applied blush, without picking up more mineral foundation, use The Handi to blend everything together.

I have been using the pure pressed for over 10 years. I. now in my late 50s and it still works better than any other foundation or mineral powder I have tried. It’s so light and undetectable and it looks like I am not wearing make up at all – which is really important to me. It’s important to apply it lightly and over well moisturised skin that has been allowed to dry properly. I apply lightly with a brusher brush as I find a Kabuki brush gives me too much coverage and I prefer a very natural finish. I then use a beauty blender to apply the powder more densely to the small areas where I have broken veins or blemishes. I then spray a rose water mist over my face to set the powder, and using this approach gives me a really natural finish. I love it!
