Leonilla and Skinmaze
Leonilla began her journey in the skincare industry in 2000 as a trainee esthetician and after gaining extensive experience in the field she founded her own beauty salon.
Skinmaze landed in Westbourne in November 2013.
Leonilla is a fully qualified and experienced Skincare and Makeup Professional having trained with famous brands such as Guinot, Environ, Skinceuticals, Jan Marini, Medik8, Advance Nutrition Program, Mesoaesthetics, Sterex Electrolysis Blemish Removal, Elemis, Jane Iredale and Jessica nailcare.
She has an extensive experience in electrolysis blemish removal and aesthetic skin treatments such as skin micro needling, mesotherapy, and is very experienced in dealing with specific skin concerns like rosacea, hyper-pigmentation, sun-damaged skin, eczema, under eye area dark circles and puffiness, sensitivity, acne skin problems (including teenagers), dry or dehydrated skin, face contouring treatments of the neck and jaw line.
All our estheticians are highly qualified and experienced in skincare, various skin concerns, analysing and identifying skin problems and recommending correct treatments and products.
We offer in-clinic advanced treatments on the face and the body as well as on-line consultations nationally and internationally.
Our in-clinic extensive skin consultation involves using an Advanced Skin Scanning technology.
Skinmaze Beauty Salon
Skinmaze Crown Beauty Clinic is based in Westbourne, Bournemouth and has the full Guinot, Environ and Skinceuticals homecare range on show and available to test at the SkinPod. There are also 2 luxury treatment rooms where the full range of Guinot face and body treatments (including Hydradermie, Age Summum, Eye Lift and Technispa) and selected Skinceuticals and Environ treatments are offered.

Leonilla and her Skinmaze team welcome clients from the local area but also receive many clients who are visiting this holiday destination or indeed travel quite some distance to the salon on a regular basis due the reputation Skinmaze has built up nationally over the years with its Guinot Facial and body treatments and Jane Iredale Makeup Sessions.
Leonillas team includes her experienced Beauty Professional colleague Emily who trained on Guinot and Jane Iredale alongside Leonilla years ago and became the Haven Beauty Spa Manager before later moving to join Leonilla at Skinmaze,.
Skinmaze’s other professional Beauty Professional is Zoe who has had extensive Guinot experience and is a very dedicated knowledgeable beautician.
Unlike many salons, Skinmaze does not get high staff turnover so there is consistency of service for the beautiful clients.
It is this team of dedicated, enthusiastic Skinmaze Beauty Professionals who have helped Skinmaze develop and gain Elite Crown Salon status from Guinot UK which recognises not only the luxury and well equipped premises but even more importantly the experience and professionalism of the team.
Leonilla and team also sell most of her salon brands nationally online at Skinmaze.com having started this back in 2004. Full advice and consultations are offered by email, skype and over the phone as well as an extensive sampling service.

“I am an experienced Beauty Therapist Professional with over 21 years of working in the industry.
Prior to Skinmaze, I worked in Beauty Salons and Hotel Spas such as The Royal Bath Hotel Bournemouth and the Haven Hotel Spa Sandbanks. I gained extensive experience at the Haven Hotel Spa over 10 years, where I first started working with the Guinot brand and worked my way up to Spa Manager level.
I trained at Bournemouth and Poole College of Further Education where I gained my level 2 and 3 beauty qualifications and achieved student of the year.
I am pleased to say I helped set up and launch Skinmaze Beauty Salon where we have a great team and beautiful loyal clients.
For years now I have been performing Guinot Facials and Body Treatments and consistently provide my clients with the highest possible experience in these luxury treatments.
Advising my clients on their regular salon treatments and home skincare regime and seeing positive results is a gratifying part of the job.

I have been a fully qualified beauty therapist for the past 16 years.
I have always had a passion for beauty and makeup and in my final year of college, I excelled and won student of the year.
I have worked in both the beauty salon and the spa industry but I have found my vocation is within the salon where I can see my clients on a regular basis and get to build a good rapport with them and their skin.
I enjoy going that little bit extra and offering that personal 1-1 bespoke service for my clients. The favourite part of my job is seeing results in my client’s skin and knowing that they leave glowing and full of confidence.
My clients come to me for advice and I love seeing the results they get from using different products and trying different facials. It makes my job extra rewarding.
I have worked with many different products in the past but I love the results we get from the Guinot hydradermie and hydradermie lift.
I have worked at Skinmaze for 7 yrs now and I am proud to be part of a small exclusive salon. We are a small team and we all work really well together.
