Advanced Cosmetic Procedures and Electrolysis

Below we list and detail some of the procedures we carry out. Contact Leonilla at Skinmaze for a consultation to assess your requirements.

Thread veins (broken capillaries) are sometimes called spider or broken veins. They are completely harmless and can appear on the face and legs, typically on the nose and cheeks. Veins appear more visibly as you age as there becomes less collagen in your skin. There are many other collective causes from hereditary, sun damage, menopause, high blood pressure, smoking, alcohol, blood pressure, medications, asthma, hay fever, chemical peels, extreme temperatures, incorrect cosmetic products. The Electrolysis procedures successfully treat this.

Blood spots (known as Campbell de Morgan spots) are normally bright red spots a couple of millimetres across. They usually develop with age. They are very successfully removed by Electrolysis procedures.

Skin tags are skin coloured or brown growths of fibrous tissue and look like a soft piece of hanging skin. Caused by human papilloma virus, they do not cause pain but can bleed if snagged. Commonly appear in skin folds. Older, overweight and people with diabetes are more susceptible. The Electrolysis method produces successful removal results.

Milia is a disorder of the sebaceous gland. White or yellow rounded lumps under the skin which may be slightly raise depending on the size. Can be caused by steroid creams or wrong (too string) skincare products, or a diet high in cholesterol or dehydration which can lead to clogged pores and then milia. Milia may disappear naturally after a course of regular Guinot Hydradermie facials or can be effectively treated with Electrolysis techniques.

Warts are commonly found on the hands and feet and is a skin growth caused by a virus (human papillomavirus) and are highly contagious and can spread to other areas of the skin. Warts can develop through indirect contact like from a swimming pool floor or towel. Usually found on the hands and feet. Treat them as soon as possible to prevent them spreading. The Electrolysis procedures are highly effective.

Electrolysis procedures can reduce the visible size of moles without causing trauma.

Small or large formations of sebum under the skin. Can be hereditary, due to race or result from diet of high cholesterol, using wrong skin products, hormones. Common in the eye socket area. Can be gradually reduced until disappears with Electrolysis Advanced Cosmetic Procedures.

Electrolysis Hair Removal Bournemouth - -age spots - Advanced Electrolysis Clinic/Treatment for Skin Blemishes (skin tags, milia, blood spots removal and more)

Age spots are dark patches of pigmentation caused by ageing of the collagen producing cells. Commonly found in the facial area, hands, decollete and upper body. Caused by the ageing process, hormonal changes, medications, sun exposure. The Electrolysis method will effectively remove or reduce.

Mobile masses of fibrous tissues and fluids. Most common in hairier areas. Scalp, ears, face, back and upper arm are common places. Electrolysis procedures can be greatly reduced and disappear over time.

Sebaceous Hypoplasia is a benign bump on the skin that forms over time as a result of damage which leads to an ongoing problem with over-productive oil glands. The Electrolysis technique removes immediately.

Verrucas (viral warts) are a highly contagious viral infection that forms raised, rough papules with black dots (blood capillaries). They are usually found on the hands and feet but can spread to other parts. Electrolysis procedures are very effective in treating them.

Poikiloderma (combination of pigmentation, Telangiectasia and sun damage)”]

Poikilderma is most frequently seen on the chest or the neck and normally appears as red coloured pigment on the skin and is commonly associated with sun damage. Can be removed with Electrolysis procedures.

Syringoma are harmless sweat duct tumours, typically found clustered on eyelids, although they may also be found in other areas. They are skin-coloured or yellowish firm round bumps. Can be successfully treated with Electrolysis procedures.

This is a cauliflower proliferation with a waxy and velvety appearance. Normally benign and although rare, could have a potential malignant concern. Removal of the lesion is recommended for cosmetic purposes only. The Electrolysis procedure is very effective.
